Post-Season Force™ Blower Maintenance

If you own a Billy Goat Force™ Blower, here are some quick maintenance tips to consider before storing it for the off season.

1. Clean the blower of dirt and debris. You can use a pressure washer but be careful not to direct the spray around the gas cap, muffler and electrical components. Once clean, start the unit and run it to help dry the engine and internal blower components.

2. Change the oil refilling with the proper amount and a good grade of recommended oil. Consult the owner's manual for more information on your specific Billy Goat blower.

3. Check the air filter and replace if necessary.

4. Fill the fuel tank to at least 1/2 and add an enzyme treatment. Star-Tron works very well in keeping the gas fresh for an easy start come spring. After adding the treatment, run the engine for 5-10 minutes to get it through the system.
